Taking a photograph is to capture a moment of time. Each one is unique never to be repeated exactly the same as it is today. To capture a moment of time is to capture history and show it to a future audience. Ralph A. Ledergerber
Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face the beauty of the earth and skies that man has inherited, and the wealth and confusion man has created. It is a major force in explaining man to man. Edward Steichen
