Gilda was born in 1957 in Turkey. Thus a passion for the arts started
at a young age. She is a self taught artist. It did not take long for
Gilda's work to gain recognition in Greece. She began to open her own
exhibitions in 1996. To date she has organized 9 personal exhibitions.
She also began teaching art in 1996, and is now an integral part of
the Voula Cultural Center in Greece. Since 2002 she is an active
member of the International Association of Art. Gilda is inspired by
the sea, so her artwork tends to revolve around the sea life. She also
likes to experiment with different canvasses, such as wood. Her
paintings also vary in size, from small to a
large billboard or mural. She is known throughout Greece for her
delicate and sensitive artwork.
