Biography and Artist Statement

Nurhayat Günes was born in 1977 in Kağızman. She was completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir. In 2009, she graduated from undergraduate program of Arts Education of Trakya University Faculty of Education and in 2013, graduated from post graduate program at the same university. After one and a half years serving as a painting teacher, she started working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Arts Education of Fine Arts Education at Dicle University Faculty of Education, in 2011. Participating in various exhibitions domestically and internationally, Gunes, is currently continuing the Ph.D program in the Faculty of Art Education Department of Fine Arts Education at Gazi University Faculty of Education and her works in Ankara.
