A statement of
revolt: against rules imposed by the government (Caesar) to return
what comes from Caesar (emperor). I want to
give back his coins with his depiction on it. I'm playing a game of
ping pong to return and bring back art to itself. I consumed life and
art and produced shit and made a cheap shit video of it. I stare at
myself and see the world as it is and vice versa. Other video: take me
away to the madhouse ("The Knocking Concerto"), take me away to
Westerbork ("Entartete Kunst"). But they won't open the door to let
me in and the train leaves without me and my garbage (the same as seen
on "Die Johannes Passion") is left too at the platform. (or do I
refuse to walk on in and refuse to take the train?) I believe that
nature has given man his consciousness and the opportunity to traverse
it and return to its nakedness. I want to loosen my freedom with a
shackle on my feet. Another video: I keep on pushing a door that's
already automatic. ("Against All Ends"). I consider video mentioned
models of 'Literally Art': it represents nothing, it only has inner
necessity. |
