An American
artist, Steven Frazier (a.k.a EsulWalker), artiste maudit (scorned
artist) and poet ‘peu connu’ (little- known poet) is a artist
savant who takes abstract expressionism to another plane without
precedent in the contemporary digital arts!
Since the emergence of Abstract Expressionism, of Cubism, Fauvism,
and Dada never has there been as radical and as significant a
departure: the artist inaugurating the photon gun as brush. An
artist whose work fits uneasily in the category ‘abstract’. The
artist of ideas (and of perceptions of these), his focus on the
present yet readily cognizant of tradition. He transforms all into
a living, contemporary idiom. |
